Circle power

July 26th, 2008

As we get into high gear preparing for our pilgrimage to Black Rock City, I’m reminded of the power of the circle to energize and focus a group of people. No matter what your spiritual tradition, take the time to sit in circle with friends, family, and others. Your intention may be to focus on a specific issue or activity, to deepen your emotional or spiritual bonds, or simply to celebrate the miracle of your shared consciousness. More »

We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.

June 16th, 2008

You have been telling the people that this is the Eleventh Hour.
Now you must go back and tell the people that this is The Hour.
And there are things to be considered:
Where are you living?
What are you doing?

Are you in right relation?
Where is your water?

Sanuk dee! - Good feelings!

April 17th, 2008

If you go out on the street, you’re going to get wet. The splashes come from every direction while the smiles come from deep inside. The Songkran water festival is a celebration of the Thai New Year, and this year marks 2551 in the Buddhist calendar. Everyone understands that the rains will return eventually, so until then, water buckets and cupped hands suffice for monsoon thunder and rain. Enjoying the human rites of music, art, dance, drum, song, and story is a sure way for your group to experience At-Onement, both individually and together. You don’t have to have any “talent” to get this feeling. Human rites exist deep within our genome– they are what makes us human. Drum and dance, music and song, story and art, have expressed our joys and sorrows since the beginnings of village life. Our spirituality takes root in these indigenous practices, unifying all people through the universal language of celebration.

Science vs. Spiritually?

November 25th, 2007

New understanding of the relationship of science to spirituality is bringing about an evolution in consciousness, a harmony that will lead the way to a new paradigm– At-Onement. Dr. Bruce Lipton’s new book, The Biology of Belief, explores the developing science of epigenetics, and asserts that our health and well-being are intimately connected to our state of mind and the beliefs that inform it. His site, brucelipton.com, has many great articles on the “wisdom of cells,” and other topics that will get you thinking. Consciousness is evolving! Check it out.
